Bitch, Make Your Own Wedding: The Rings!

You just got ENGAGED!!!

Styling your wedding rings should be fun & inspiring!

You are going to be wearing them everyday after all ;-D

Here's my process, hope it helps get clarity with some of your ideas & style cravings!

LOVE your ring!  (*Pant*Pant* yes'm I do!)

OneGarnetGirl on Etsy made my White Topaz with Recycled Rose Gold band in a Brushed Finish for a Matte look.... ️Hubba Hubba!!!

We started thinking of what our wedding bands would look like,
and I was craving sumpthin a lil stackish!

A special order: from Etsy again, can't find the link tho...
A pair of blackened silver chevron arrows to flank my sparkler!

It's a start...

Until we finally got to wear these babies!

We had a small custom jeweler make these Rose Gold Bands for us in a Brushed Finish to match.

Staying local for the Wedding Bands helped us keep within our Micro Budget.

The Blackened finish slowly faded on my chevrons as expected... ;-)
Omg That was our BIG DAY!!!!

I kept it simple at first, getting used to the feel of the thickness of the wedding band.
Silver spacer I made from a piece from another ring...

I took this ring that I never wore... It was a bit pinchy...

Leathah Man to the rescue! Snip snip....

Easy Peasy!
Hammered & filed the edges so it would fit just under the lip of my engagement ring.

Happy lil spacer ring in Italian Sterling Silver, it has a Sandblasted Finish, giving it a pebbley look.

Now I can easily wear the remnants of the old pinchy ring! YaY!

Added the silver chevrons, grouped at one end...
What am I doing in this picture.... ? lol

Took away the chevrons, and added a faceted silver band...

Chevrons are BACK! Phew! I missed them...

BOOM! My fave! Chevs, & Facets, & Bands, OH MY!
Loving the mix of metals, warm, cool, warm, cool!!!

I've found for my own comfort, having each stackable band a lil on the big side, so that if/when my hands may get puffy & tired, etc... they will still flex & bend with me & can be removed easily ;-)

Having a rockin Ring is sometimes just the beginning of the creative jewelry process that you have the opportunity to explore!

If you're like me, perfection lies in the possibilities.

The evolution of your look can happen at any time!

Add some, take one away, switch it up and PLAY!

Make wearing an Engagement Ring FUN!

Make your Sparkler less Lonely!

Make a Ring Party!!!

Bitch, Make Your Own Valentines Day!

Black wire heart, I need to make more! I Love how they look hand drawn.

Valentines made 5....? Years ago...?

I've been adding to the collection for the last few years...

LOVE with Arrows Pillow I made last summer:

Took a stencil, used some sharpies (silver/gold), freehanded some Arrows...

A plain cotton drop cloth pillow case is now *BAM* Fab!

I've been hunting for non-traditional Valentine crafts on Pinterest:

^Pinterest^  I remember Painting on Rocks when I was a kid, craft paint, markers, nail polish!

Love it!^^ Black/White/Gold is a Fave right now!!!

ALL the colors! Not just Red & Pink!

Think Unicorn, Channel that inner Unicorn!!!

Throwback to some of my past Heart Themed Mani/Pedis....

Pro Tip: black n white mani ^^ lower left...

Take yer good ole polish strips, cut into shapes (Hearts) and stick em on!

Throw some top coat on it, DONE.

I used the hounds tooth & love letter patterns by Sally Hansen

No worries if you can't paint steady for nail art, hey! ;-)

Do it, Quick and Easy!

LOVE this^^ Pinterest You Have My Heart! XOXOXOXO!!!

I still have a bunch of crafting to do!

And crafts to place & arrange before Saturday!

I have Feathers...

Flowers, Hearts,

Gold and Silver Disc Sequins...

I don't know if I'll get to it all cuz IT JUST WONT STOP SNOWING!

Six weeks goes by quick when you have a lot to get done!!!

It's been cold

It's been snowy

I love winter!

But spring, by the time it's here...

I want to be READY!!!

I want ALL the inside projects done!

Making my lists while gearing up for more shoveling.

Cutting ALL the Clutter!

Organizing the closets!

Painting a chair, paperwork and office de-clutter...

So much clutter!!!!

I will K.T.D.O!

Keep. Toss. Donate. Organize!

Because the second I see 40 degrees on the forecast, I am out & about!!!

On The Porches!

Front porch before the blizzard last week...

Last summer.... Mmmmm.... Sitting & enjoying, sunshine..... Fresh air....

Back porch after the blizzard, just a dusting makes it on this porch, still nice for sitting.

Last summer! The breakfast on the porch mornings.... *sigh*

Hiking, bike paths, day trips... Eventually SWIMMING!!!!!!!

For now...

Making the lists of what NEEDS to get done & prepped to make spring happen the second it CAN!

Basking in the fact that there are no bugs, sticky heat waves, & air conditioners blocking windows...

Taking advantage of the time I have to enjoy cold weather things!

I Make a string of happy memories to wire my brain to expect a repeat of the same to happen next winter...

I get inspired by Pinterest to beat the Winter Blues!

Taking hot baths

Drinking hot tea or cocoa

Bundling up in cozy sweaters and blankets, or crafting them...

Mittens, gloves, scarves, hats, boots...

Cold Weather Style

Maxi Dresses & Skirts w/leggings under & jacket or sweater on top...

So many cute accessories!

And if you have plans for the next few weekends....

That only leaves a few left before....

Get busy,

Get your last few winter weekends in...

Because you'll want to get ready....

For SPRING!!!!
