I love love love the fact that the fluffy green foliage and bits of blooms and splashes of color hides and/or distracts from the “under construction” parts of our landscape 🎉💖🎉💖🎉 from persicarias to oak leaf hydrangea- sun cups- wildflowers with bees- bee balm with hummingbirds- fun plant energy on this hot hot day makes it not seem so bad. I’ve never felt such a pull to want or need to be outside before having a garden. Now I make lil excuses to be with the outdoors. I care for it as it seems to care for me.
